This may be the craziest comment you've ever received, but here goes...
Your work is beautiful. I found it searching for ideas as we rebuild our house. We're rebuilding because on April 27 of this year, an F-5 tornado annihilated our home, my parents home and ministry (a boy's home)and their 100-acre farm (we all lived on the same property). We all survived but there were many deaths all around us. (My husband and I and our 9 children (not a typo) have relocated to a tiny house while building.) Our community was devastated but received less media exposure due to so many other devastated areas.
Through the incredible generosity of people all around the country, we are building back with volunteer labor and donations (we didn't own the house so got no insurance).
To read more and see pictures, news stories, videos, etc. of our ordeal, you can visit my blog: http://www.generationcedar.com/main/2011/07/all-in-one-how-the-tornado-affected-the-crawfords.html
Here is my thought...if your company came and volunteered the labor to do our countertops (my heart is set on concrete and I love the wood look for the kitchen!) we could get you a great deal of exposure for your business. It has been pretty easy and common to get the media to feature build back stories, and my blog has a following of over 1500 visits a day and a great Alexa rank as well. We have been featured on many websites since the storm and have received added exposure from that.
Is that something you would be interested in?
